Ms. Parker is a dedicated and passionate teacher who cares deeply about her students, subject, and profession. She recently completed her masters degree in music education from Tarleton State while still working full time, as well as working a part time church job with children’s choirs. Ms. Parker leads an after school choir, and has also led UIL music groups in the past to further her students’ interests. She is a leader in the community as well, having served in many capacities for Junior League of Wichita Falls, and she was a 20 under 40 a few years ago. She is a proud product of WFISD schools, and she is a proud 3rd generation WFISD educator.
