As many of you know teachers deserve much more than they receive. Honestly, most all teachers deserve this award. I’ve been there as a volunteer and it’s a hard job teaching. I have the upmost respect for all teachers. But this year, I would like to nominate Mrs. Annetta Garlinger. Mrs. Garlinger, has been teaching for 18.5 years. Annetta give her 120% all the time. She is a very caring teacher. She informs parents of any problems the child is having so that it can be helped and fixed. She’s very kind to all her students. She comes up with innovative ways of teaching. Her classroom is very fun and inviting. She makes learning fun. She is an over all wonderful person.

Mrs. McCauley always works to ensure that her students know that she cares about them and wants to help them learn and prepare for the future. When her students take the state mandated test, there is not a child in her room that she does not touch on the shoulder to make sure that he or she is on task and focusing on the task at hand. Mrs. Blair goes above and beyond for each and every student. She loves the kids as if they were her own. She spends the extra time they need to be a success.

The principal at Kirby Middle School, Shannon Cunningham, can tell you how much Kayci Bell impacts her students. Kayci has the ability to change these kids lives. She is patient, fun, challenging, and leaves no student behind. Kayci still has students that she taught in Fort Worth look to her for guidance in their lives. Kayci taught in Fort Worth for 6 years before we decided to move back to Wichita Falls.

Mrs. Moore is a dedicated and caring teacher who is committed to her students as well as her district.
