Has high standards and treats her students like people! Always encouraging them!

Ms Williams goes above and beyond for her students. She tries to keep things energetic and takes the time to meet the needs of each individual. That’s a hard task with how many students each class has. The students love her. She is very understanding and knows everyone has bad days. She has a Facebook group so parents can see pictures, reminders, and updates in the school and classroom!

As a first year teacher, Disa has submerged herself in doing her best for her kids in class and make the subject as fun as possible. She shows the students an outlet for their creativity and energy while demonstrating the technical side of producing and running a show. She enjoys the kids and has a love of all things theater, so she gets to combine both in teaching the next generation.

She’s made learning for my autistic nephew easy and fun. All of her students have beniffited from her teaching skills.

Victoria shows up with a infectious smile everyday. She works understress and never know what the day will bring her. She advocates for every single one of her students. She is always looking out for their best interest. Victoria spends her lunch break making sure all her important paperwork is done to a T and often her students come in during this time asking questions or wanting a test read to them. She is very patient, kind, loving and goes above and beyond! She makes sure all her students know how much she cares for all of them. My child started school and refused to talk to anyone for several months because he wasn’t comfortable, she was very patient with him and he now makes sure we know every day that she is the best teacher. Mrs. Young is such a blessing! She was our oldest son’s pre k teacher and is now our youngest son’s teacher. We have never had to worry about our boys knowing they are in Mrs. Young’s classroom. She loves her students like they are her own, and truly makes school fun for these young kids. My boys enjoy school and I know that is directly related to the foundation Mrs. Young has laid. Ginger is the kind of teacher that goes unnoticed in my opinion. She has taught special education for 30 years and has a heart of gold when it comes to her student’s or her “kids” as she would say. Shawn goes above and beyond for the student’s he teaches. He spends countless hours of his own time helping and teaching the students at HHS. If he’s not having after school play practice, he’s driving our student’s to a UIL competition on weekends where they are always successful.
